Job description

Part-time, 0.6 FTE Starting salary from £28,929 per annum (pro rata), dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £35,308 per annum (pro rata) This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving department at the University of East Anglia. You will be a key member of Student Services and a main point of contact for the University’s Changing the Culture programme which focuses on tackling all forms of harassment and sexual misconduct affecting UEA students. The Programme Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and delivering a range of training to students and facilitating group sessions to raise awareness of what constitutes harassment and ensuring that students understand expected behaviours and potential sanctions where these are breached. You will work closely with the Student and Residential Life Teams, in Student Services, who are responsible for providing support to students who have been impacted by behaviours which may constitute harassment or sexual misconduct.  The Programme Coordinator will also be responsible for supporting staff, within the University and the Students’ Union, in creating evaluation tools to measure the progress and effectiveness of all work and activities associated with the programme. This part-time (0.6 FTE) post is available on an indefinite basis. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
