As a Charge Nurse, you will have the opportunity to play a key leadership role in delivering exceptional patient care to our young people, while also supporting and mentoring junior nursing staff. You will act as a role model, support the running of shifts and co-ordinate nursing duties within the team.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly motivated and proactive nursing professional, ideally with some experience of working with children and young people, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.
Individuals who do not have direct inpatient CAMHS experience but are able to demonstrate significant experience in other transferable areas of mental health or paediatrics are encouraged to apply.
Leigh House is undergoing extensive renovations which will see the development of two new services, the first being launched is the exciting new Eating Disorder Day service closely followed by the 10 bed General Adolescent Unit. Both services offer staff a flexible and diverse way of working with our young people, as well as a wealth of development opportunities.
