Charity Engagement Coordinator
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Charity Experience and Impact Team, as a Charity Engagement Coordinator in this hybrid, flexible working role.
You do not need to have worked in the charity sector before, but we are looking for someone with a passion for tackling some of society’s biggest issues.

Position:Charity Engagement Coordinator (internally known as Charity Engagement Executive)
Location: Central London/Hybrid (up to 3 days/week can be home-based)
Hours: Full-time (flexible)
Salary: £25,500k per annum
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Closing Date: 3rd March 2024
The Role
You will be a primary point of contact for potential and existing partner charities, helping them to find the right programme of support for their challenges, as well as maintaining administrative support around this. As Charity Engagement Executive you will be part of the Charity Experience team but will work closely across all teams.
This is a key relationship, sales and systems role, helping to ensure that there are the right charity partners coming forward for the right programmes so that the team can help them make a positive difference. You do not need to have worked with charities before, but you will have an affinity with the mission and values of the charity and be excited about recruiting and working with organisations tackling some of society’s biggest issues.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Being a primary point of contact for charities who are interested in the programmes
- Building relationships with key referral points for charities and engaging in direct contact with potential charities
- Leading conversations to explore charities’ needs
- Creating and maintaining reports using Salesforce and other tools
- Collaborating with the Marketing and Communications team to support in dedicated charity recruitment and marketing activities, including event management and copywriting
- Ensuring the smooth operation of the Charity Experience team, including monitoring the status of responses to charity queries managing the Charity Recruitment mailbox, managing the administration and event logistics of a key partnerships
About You
You will be an excellent communicator and team player, enjoying variety in a fast-paced environment, as well as being organised and pro-active with a can-do attitude. You do not need to have worked in the charity sector before, but we are looking for someone with an affinity with the mission and values of the organisation, who is excited about tackling some of society’s biggest issues.
You will have:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A strong communicator (verbal and written) who is personable, calm and dependable
- Ability to be flexible, multi-task and work well in a fast-moving environment
- Confident in day-to-day administrative tasks
- Experience using Microsoft 365 suite and Customer Relationship Management databases (ideally Salesforce) is an advantage.
- Commitment to the charity’s mission and work.
You don’t necessarily need to have worked in a similar role before to be successful – we are interested in people who have the right skills and enthusiasm to carry out the role.
An understanding/familiarity with the not-for-profit sector and/or organisational development is desirable but not essential.
Above all we are looking for someone who is keen to continuously learn and improve their understanding of the sector and its needs.
