We are looking for passionate, dynamic and driven individuals who are passionate about nature conservation to represent the Canal and River Trust - one of the UK’s biggest charities.
- Hours guaranteed - not a zero hour contract
- Wednesday to Sunday, 6-8 hours per day
- Work between 3 to 5 days per week -your preference! Please note weekends are required
- £12.15-£14.50 per hour - NOT a commission-based role
- Immediate Start
- Full training included, no experience required!
- Fully paid training!
Due to the nature of the role and the locations you will be working in, you will need to be a driver with full access to your own vehicle. Mileage paid at £0.45/mile.
Job description
The Canal and River Trust maintains and cares for a 2000-mile-long, 200-year-old network of canals, rivers, reservoirs and docks, providing accessible green and blue space where it’s needed the most.
Charity Fundraising:As a Charity Fundraiser for the Canal and River Trust, you will head out with your team each day to different private venue locations all around your local area. You may also attend events, shows and Trust attractions as fundraising venues. You will engage in conversations with members of the public who are out and about, inspiring them to support the Trust through an ongoing donation.
The Ideal Candidate
Successful applicants will be confident communicators with great interpersonal skills, who enjoy working outside as part of a lively team. They will be an activist at heart and keen to make a real difference.
