Chartered Surveyor
Full-time. Permanent. Remote Role.
Our clients are looking for a Chartered Surveyor to join their Survey team, covering the whole of the North East of England.
Their Survey department is based in Newcastle, but this is a remote based role with requirements to travel across the whole of the North East to conduct surveys and valuations.
They are looking to grow their Survey department by adding to their team of qualified Chartered Surveyors. The surveyor will need to have a strong background in residential and commercial property and will need to be MRICS or FRICS qualified.
Responsibilities will include:
Producing accurate and high-quality valuation reports to their lender and private clients
Strong market knowledge and to keep up to date with market changes
Observing RICS regulatory requirements and to be aware of any changes, including those in respect of the Red Book
Understanding the company’s policies and procedures including those relating to Quality Assurance, Health & Safety
Providing high levels of customer service
You must have:
MRICS or FRICS
Registered Valuer
Sound technical surveying knowledge
Experience managing clients and their expectations coupled with a strong understanding of profitability, business development, and sound commercial awareness.
Sound knowledge of drafting technical documents
Full understanding of Health and Safety requirements
Excellent time management, punctuality and commitment to getting the job done
Meticulous nature and an eye for detail
A full driving licence and prepared to travel as required
Strong IT skills
Ability to present well with good literacy and numeracy skills
Experience of managing clients and their expectations
