Location: Yountville, CA

Salary: $90,000 - $95,000 + Medical + 401K + Discounts!

The Client:

My client seeks an experienced Chef de Cuisine proficient in traditional cooking techniques from various regional Mexican cuisines.
This renowned Mexican restaurant, located in Yountville, CA, provides a dynamic culinary journey featuring authentic flavors and inventive creations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the culinary operations, ensuring guests are provided with an outstanding experience
• Ensure the food is prepared, plated, and served efficiently and to the highest standards
• Recruit a high performing team.
  Train staff in proper cooking techniques and adherence to recipes and quality standards
• Establish appropriate staffing levels and conduct daily shift briefings with culinary team members
• Manage inventory, labour and food costs

Chef de Cuisine Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in a similar position, with 5 years of overall kitchen experience
• Mexican Cuisine experience
• Strong financial acumen and leadership skills
• A creative leader who can hold their own in a fast-paced environment, all while having a positive and humble personality
