Chef De Partie/Junior Sous Chef

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at a busy restaurant. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our recipes and standards. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our kitchen operations. Responsibilities: - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices - Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff - Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality - Monitor food stock and communicate any shortages to the Kitchen Manager - Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets food safety standards - Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies - Clean and maintain workstations before, during, and after each shift - Adhere to all sanitation regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen area - Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed Skills: - Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant role in a fast-paced restaurant environment - Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines - Strong understanding of food safety practices - Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume kitchen setting - Excellent time management skills to ensure timely preparation of meals - Attention to detail in order to consistently deliver high-quality dishes - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team If you have a passion for cooking, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have the skills necessary for this role, we would love to hear from you.
