Chef Lecturer

Are you passionate about food and teaching the new chef generation? Do you have experience in the catering and hospitality industry? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are looking for a Chef Lecturer/Catering Course Leader to join our team.

As a Chef Lecturer/Catering Course Leader, you will be responsible for the delivery of L1, L2 and L3 Catering to students at Newbury College. You will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons including theory and practical cookery classes, that inspire students to learn and develop their skills. The successful candidate will facilitate good working relationships with the wider college, working alongside them to plan and deliver improvements in the quality of teaching and learning and to ensure effective collaboration. The role will include occasional support for the running of food service for our commercial restaurant.

The successful candidate will have:

• Level 3 equivalent qualification in English or Maths

• Level 3 Teaching Qualification

• Experience in working in a commercial kitchen
