About Your New Team
The Chef Tree is a well-established chef agency that specialises in supplying Chefs to UK-based residential and nursing homes and schools. You will join this small remote working team to lead the day-to-day candidate outreach and onboarding of our well-established and busy chef agency.
About your new role as their Chef Recruiter
The Chef Tree is looking for a self-motivated Chef Recruiter where it’s your role to find, generate interest and onboard the UK’s best chefs who are looking for more than ‘just an agency’...You will join a small remote working team to lead the day-to-day candidate outreach and onboarding of our well-established and busy chef agency.
Your mission as the team’s Chef Recruiter:
- Find new chefs
- Chat and engage with them
- Build and nurture the relationship
- Onboard new chef candidates who believe in being a ‘Chef Tree chef’ and everything that goes with it.
DO NOT: You need not be an experienced recruiter to join our team.
DO: You do need to:
- Be a people-person
- Be a great communicator by email, text and online meetings
- Have a passion for building, nurturing and retaining relationships
- Be a team player
- Not give up easily
- Love working to targets and;
- Bringing in 5 new chefs into the team each week.
It’s a tall order! However, so is ensuring we continue to help provide the right chefs to the country’s nurseries, nursing homes and schools.

Our chefs find it very rewarding to move from an over-stretched, under-appreciated commercial kitchen to help the older people in our communities and the younger generations with fantastic nutritious food.
About You, your experience and personality:

- We all work from home, so we’re probably not the right team for you if you prefer an office-based role.

Role: Chef Recruiter
Salary: £24,000 to £25,000 depending on your experience, company bonus plus pension
Working hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday - 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Recruitment On-call: One (1) week of every four (4) weeks
Based: UK - remote (the team get together in London twice per year minimum)
Start date: January/February 2024
