Trump International, Scotland are looking to expand our talented and welcoming kitchen brigade, with opportunities across a variety of chef roles.High-quality informal brasserie-style dining at the clubhouse is central to the golf experience. Quality grab-and-go options before and during play, along with fast, hearty, quality breakfast menus form an important part of the clubhouse offering. More refined dining at MacLeod House including breakfasts, in-room services, hampers and special menus for exclusive use require the development, preparation and delivery of classic formal dining.
The kitchen brigade are central to day-to-day operations and candidates require a high level of culinary ability, as well as organisational and management skills.Chef roles operate on a shift-based system including weekend working in line with the seasonal needs of the business.Job Purpose: To assist the Executive Head Chef in the preparation and service of food, ensuring that the highest quality, hygiene and service standards are met and maintained at all times in line with our guests expectations.
The following key criteria and skills are required:
Experience of working in a similar role within a high quality establishment and ability to produce quality food to the highest standardCulinary qualification, current certificate in Basic Food Preparation, Health and Hygiene or similarExcellent communication skillsCulinary creativity, imagination, and flairCreative with a meticulous eye for detailAbility to work in a fast paced and challenging environment and maintain a consistently high standard of food delivery under pressurePositive and flexible approach to work (weekend and evening work will be required)Proof of eligibility to work in the United Kingdom
