SalaryJP Recruitment are hiring. Our client based in Tameside require an additional production operative to join their manufacturing site. This is a permanent position direct with the company.
Duties Include:
- Preparation of raw materials and chemicals.
- Operating of the equipment’s: verify and load raw materials in line with process instructions and procedures, take samples, unload, and pack.
- Performing quality control of products, from reactors and mixers, performing necessary adjustments according to existing procedures and reporting them to the Production Manager/Supervisor.
- Ensure production is against work instructions issued for the produced item to guarantee proper operating conditions.
- Ensure initial testing and release of products is completed and that there are no deviations to specifications.
- Ensure the perfect visual appearance of the finished products to be of the level of standard.
- Maintains high quality expectations regarding all operations and packaging of the final product and encourages peers to do likewise.
- Maintain machinery and work areas in a clean and proper condition.
- Responsible of their own training documentations
- Carry out any other duties requested from the Production Manager/Supervisor
ESSENTIAL
- Knowledge of chemical mixing and packaging processes
- 5 Years production experience.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
- Required to stand for long periods of time.
- Walk and climb stairs.
- Use hands to remove or lift boxes.
- Stretch and reach with arms extended.
- Stoop and bend with ease.
- Regularly lift to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Temperature, dust, smell, and noise are under normal chemical environment conditions.
Working Hours:
- 8am – 5pm – Monday – Friday
