Specialist Chemical Process Operator
How can you grow with Nufarm?
As a Specialist Operator, you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment in support of our manufacturing plan. Based at our site in Wyke, West Yorkshire. You will operate plant and equipment and observe and monitor Chemical Processes as detailed in written standard operating instructions. We are a top tier COMAH site, and you will therefore be required to work to the highest Safety, Environmental and Quality standards. We operate within a continuous improvement environment and therefore your input into these processes is essential to maintain and improve standards.
What do you bring?
You will ideally have Maths and English qualifications. You will be a good written and verbal communicator; be collaborative; self-motivated; safety focussed; and have a pro-active attitude towards continuous improvement. You will have experience of working within processing industries; ideally a chemical environment and able to align and lead team member towards meeting production targets in a safe and efficient manner.
Salary and benefits
Working as a Specialist Chemical Process Operator with us means receiving a competitive and comprehensive benefits package alongside your salary. In addition to this we offer 28 days annual leave as standard including bank holidays.
You will work a 12.33-hour continuous shift pattern. Working 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off . This pattern repeats seven times, after which there is a further 14-day extended rostered break. All holidays are rostered into the shift pattern.
