Salary: £37,381.16 (inclusive of shift allowance) + overtime opportunities
Hrs : Monday - Friday 06:00-14:00 / 07:30-15:30 / 14:00-22:00hrs

The Company
Being a highly successful leading manufacturer of high-performance process chemicals, our client is looking to appoint a highly capable, motivated Chemical Process Operator to join their expanding team.
The purpose of the role is to operate, monitor and maintain chemical manufacturing equipment and contribute to the quality, efficiency, and safety of the manufacturing plant.

As the Chemical Process Operator, your duties will be:
" Always adhere to strict site Health & Safety procedures.
" Follow manufacturing procedures and ensure machines are operated safely.
" Ensuring products are processed in a timely manner.
" Safely load/unload vehicles.
" Locate/relocate product to its destination.
" Offloading and charging raw materials by operating a forklift truck.
" Liaise with drivers, customer service and management.
" Helping in various areas across the site including some manual handling stacking products.
An ideal Chemical Process Operator will hold the following skills and experiences:
" Previous experience of working in a Chemical Processing environment and knowledge of hazardous chemicals is required.
" Any knowledge of conducting risk assessments or permits to work would be desirable.
" Awareness of working within ISO 9001, 14001 & 18001 systems.
" IT Literate
" Ability to deliver results in a high-pressure environment.
" A good understanding of critical processing steps and operating procedures.
" NVQ Level 2 in manufacturing or equivalent, not essential.
" Excellent teamworking skills with the ability to also work without supervision.
" Excellent communicator
" Must be flexible to work overtime.
