EQUANS is looking for a Chemistry Lab Administrator to join our team based at Torness Nuclear Power Station on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
As an effective member of the Professional Services Team, you will be focused on customer care with a "can do" attitude with the flexibility and adaptability to work within the team in a changing business environment.
The objective is to support the Chemistry Department as directed from the Business Services Lead and Chemistry Group Head.
What will you deliver?
Sampling and analysis activities to support safe reliable Operations
Environmental monitoring
Operation of lab instrumentation including the calibration of instruments
Support for online process instrumentation including cross-checks, standards preparations, and inhibitor dosing
Data input and validation to ensure accuracy
Data analysis and trending
Station strategic stock checks and replenishment of supplies
Cover for supervision of bulk chemical tanker discharges and feedwater dosing tank top-ups
Support chemical ordering, goods receipting, chemistry accounts, and general administration.

Who are we looking for?
Full driving license required for field sampling
Science Highers or A-Levels
Laboratory analysis and data handling would be an advantage, but training will be provided
Basic laboratory experience desirable

This role includes a Basic DBS check therefore ability to pass is essential.
