Due to exciting growth and expansion, we are seeking a Head of Compliance to manage manage the compliance and MLRO functions, playing a pivotal role in shaping the firm's compliance and risk governance strategy.
This role is seeking someone who can build strong relationships with the FCA, with an oversight of regulatory reporting, horizon scanning and risk more generally
Duties of the Head of Compliance include:
- Managing the firm’s AML framework and MLRO oversight
- Providing strategic, operational and technical compliance advice to the Board, Executive Committee and Senior Managers
- Manage the relationship with the regulator, to include financial regulatory reporting
- Implementation of 1st line of defense and ongoing liaison, as well as 2nd line compliance monitoring
- Conducting Change Management in relation to Regulatory guidance and new policies
- Responsible for the independent management of all compliance and regulatory matters in relation to the business being registered as and Authorized EMI.
What we need from you:
- Educated to University degree level (2:1) or equivalent
- Understanding and experience of UK regulatory requirements is essential with a strong knowledge of FCA handbook
- Understanding of the online payment landscape and major UK and European payment methods
- Professional qualifications, such as ICA, highly desirable
