Camden Council
Chief Data Officer
Location: Camden, London, UK
Salary – Dependent on experience
Closing date - Sunday 28th April
Camden Council understands the importance of using data effectively to make informed decisions across our diverse range of services. We've been working hard to improve how we store, share, and using data, aiming to give our teams the information they need to make better informed decisions.
We're at an exciting point in our journey, where we're shaping our future through a carefully considered Data Strategy with number of ambitious initiatives already in progress. Our recent investments in tooling and new data-focused roles have set the stage for this transformational next phase.
Our approach is guided by a set of ethical principles called the Data Charter, which we developed in collaboration with our community. It's been recognised globally for its positive impact and is now being used by other organisations too.
We're now looking for a Chief Data Officer to join us at this crucial moment. This role is key to our plans for using data to improve the services we provide to our community. It's an opportunity to lead meaningful change and make a real difference. A recent example of this is our partnership with Google to create an AI Campus, which will provide valuable academic opportunities for students from all backgrounds.
If you're passionate about using data to drive positive outcomes and want to be part of our journey, we'd love to hear from you.
