The Opportunity:
The Financial Times #1 UK Defence Company seeks an influential Chief Engineer to lead Electronic Warfare R&D initiatives.
The Role:
As a hands-on Engineering Authority, you'll be at the forefront of steering complex projects while nurturing up-and-coming engineers in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Additionally, you'll be crucial in managing technical aspects of multimillion-pound bids and driving business development efforts.
Required Skills/Experience:
- British Born and Sole British Passport Holder
- Strong technical leadership and management skills in significant engineering capacities.
- Leading the development of Electronic Warfare Solutions covering various domains.
- Exceptional commercial acumen managing multimillion-pound bids and business development.
- Comprehensive understanding of physics in developing advanced EM/RF components.
- Extensive network spanning academia, defence, suppliers, and commercial sectors.
- Ability to influence MoD perspectives and translate customer needs into solutions.
- Profound understanding of mathematical modelling and practical design limitations.
- Knowledgeable about EM and microwave component measurements.
- Proficiency in designing and validating concepts throughout the development lifecycle.
Benefits Package:
- Base Salary: £80,000 - £110,000
- Annual Bonus: 15%
- Car/Cash Allowance: Circa £4,500
- Pension: 9% (6% Company Contribution)
