We are an independent Housing Association providing high-quality, affordable housing. With circa 450 properties, we are committed to fostering inclusive, sustainable neighbourhoods. Our Chief Executive is retiring in Q1 2025, so we seek a strategic leader to guide us forward.
The Role:
As Chief Executive, you will guide our strategic direction and manage operations. Your leadership will ensure excellent services, enhance housing stock, and promote sustainable communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement our vision and business plan.
- Operational Management: Oversee property management, maintenance, tenant services, and compliance.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage budgets, forecasts, and secure funding.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with residents, authorities, and partners.
- Governance: Collaborate with the Board for effective governance.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and develop our team, promoting excellence.
Person Specification:
- Experience: Senior leadership in housing or related field.
- Skills: Strategic thinking, financial acumen, operational management.
- Leadership: Motivational leader with team management experience.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Knowledge: Understanding of housing policy, regulations, and best practices.
- Values: Commitment to social justice, inclusivity, and community development.
