Kuumba Imani Millennium Centre as a black charity with a beautiful building serving multi-cultural communities and the Chief Executive Officer will build on the current business and community development to its next phase.
Kuumba Imani (KIMC) is a black-led charity which was established in 2004 as a multi-cultural, multi-purpose community centre serving a diverse range of ethnically diverse groups in Liverpool. Situated in our beautiful light-filled building, featuring a huge mural of Nelson Mandela outside, are spaces for community and business development. Our award-winning work on community and business development programmes; L8 A Better Place and Nia Business Support Project enable us to work with our communities and city to reduce inequality and to support them to thrive. KIMC tenants provide income and meet community needs through offering services such as counselling, legal advice, community cycling and the local MP’s office.
