Chief Marketing Officer - Hybrid Working

The Ashdown Group has been engaged by a prestigious Digital First services organisation to assist in their search for a Chief Marketing Officer.

 This is offered on a hybrid working basis, 2 days working from home and 3 days in their Hampshire based offices.

 Reporting to the CEO and founder, this is an exciting opportunity for a passionate results driven CMO. You will be a transformational leader with demonstrable experience growing and transforming the marketing function to accelerate  growth plans within Digital First organisations. 

 Key focus will be to develop the group's marketing strategy and vision, whilst championing key performance metrics for the business and working alongside the business to deliver the international go to market plans, starting with America and Ireland.

 You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of marketing within the group, implementing teams, strategies and tactics that drive revenue growth, increase market share, and strengthen brand presence.

 First and foremost you will be an expert marketeer, helping to create and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that encompasses digital, MarTech, traditional advertising, PR, and brand development. You will oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media, and marketing automation to optimise online presence and lead generation across both B2B and B2C.  Must be comfortable to plan, direct and coordinate marketing budgets in accordance with business needs.

 Our client is looking for an experienced professional with at least 3 years in senior leadership and have worked in digital marketing for at least ten years, with a background working in digital-first business or online marketplace with both B2B and B2C environments. 

 Your experience will encompass, solid performance marketing experience (PPC, SEO, social marketing, digital marketing), knowledge around lead generation tools, including, HubSpot, Apollo, Marketo, and Outreach.io. As well as

experience with automation platforms such as Braze, Iterable, Bloomreach, CleverTap and Emarys. 

 Previous experience leading and managing large teams, ensuring the teams are empowered to reach their potential and their talents are fully realised will be needed.  Additionally you will possess excellent presentation skills and comfortable presenting to senior executives, investors and large audiences. You will also need a strong financial acumen to ensure P&L development and budget control.
