Job description

Salary will be discussed on appointment.  An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chief Operating Officer to join the Vice-Chancellor's Office to lead a key group of professional services.   Key duties of the role include leading a team of senior staff who are key to supporting the University's delivery of high-quality learning, teaching and research. You will also be leading cross-university strategic projects and strategic change programmes aligned with the University's over-arching objectives and plans.     You will have a track record of successful delivery and have a focus on service transformation and a commitment to informed debate, corporate decision-making and collective accountability as well as individual ownership.   This full-time post is available from 1 July 2024 on an indefinite basis.  Benefits include: 44 days annual leave inclusive of Bank Holidays and University Customary days (pro rata for part-time).
