Chief Operating Officer

Want to make a real difference? Want to be the first person to take over the COO role full time? You won't be man managed, the strategy will be discussed and you'll go off and do your thing. You'll drive the innovation and maintain high standards of performance across multiple departments. Due to the confidentiality of recruiting for this role, we can not share much about the company until we've discussed with you.

The CEO has their own way of managing and is looking for someone who can oversee the operational functions to ensure the company is being efficient, productive and in return being successful.

Under your remit there will be Project Management, IT and Cyber Security, Customer Support, Quality and Compliance and Supply Chain Management.

You'll currently be working at a strategic leadership level, working with c suite execs to develop and execute the companies strategy. Ensuring that improvements are being made across the business as it continues to grow. Teamwork and accountability is huge, and its important that a culture like this is fostered at all levels of the business.

You'll be responsible for budgeting and financial planning activities, monitoring the performance of operational functions and ensure you're taking action. You won't need to run what you're doing past the CEO, you'll make this role your own.

With a team of 15 directly reporting into you, you'll be able to build relationships with them quickly, understand their strengths and ensure that any gaps are looked at and plugged to reduce risk to the business.

Mitigating risks is key in this role, keeping your ear to the ground and working closely with the people in the business will allow you to address issues before they arise, and mitigate the effect it has on the business and people.

This is a role for you if you want a real challenge, where you may hit brick walls, and will require future-proof plans to ensure that any problems or challenges are lessons learnt.
