Our Financial Services client is looking for an experienced Chief Technology Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. The client offers an excellent salary and benefits package.

Job Responsibilities

• Technology Strategy and Planning:Develop and execute a technology strategy that aligns with the company's long-term goals and objectives. Identify emerging technologies and trends to drive innovation and growth.
• Architectural Design and Governance:Oversee the design and governance of the company's technology and data architecture. Ensure that systems are designed for scalability, security, and efficiency.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders:Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements and align technology solutions with their needs.
• Technology Leadership and Mentorship:Provide technical leadership to technology teams and guide team members to achieve their full potential.
• Develop the company's technology strategy, aligning it with business objectives and growth plans.
• Lead and mentor the technology team, including software engineers, IT professionals, and other technical staff.
• Drive the research, evaluation, and selection of technology platformsand toolsthat align with the company's goals.
• Oversee the development and implementation of technology solutions, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.

Experience Required

• 5+ years of experience as CTO or Head of Technology.
• Expertise in architectural design, governance, and technology best practices
• Experience in dealing with both internal & external stakeholders
• Experience of working in financial services would be an advantage.

Essential and Desirable Skills

• Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Effective leadership and mentorship capabilities.

Educational Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field is preferred.
