Job description

Are you a passionate, committed and enthusiastic professional who has excellent skills in engaging young people. You could join our team and make a difference to young people who are vulnerable to exploitation, contextual risks and have experienced trauma, which has impacted on their wellbeing.
The Team is part of an integrated service which means we are closely aligned with the Youth Justice Service (YJS) and a Young People’s Social Work Team. The role will also support other professionals across Children’s Services. You will be working alongside police officers, health workers, psychologists, education workers, substance misuse workers, as well as Social Workers and many other professionals.
Our approach is restorative and underpins every interaction with young people and families. It creates a shared language and culture, where we focus on building trusted relationships which support good outcomes for young people. You will benefit from evidence-based approaches and feel supported by managers, with regular reflective practice sessions and a trauma informed approach. We have extensive support from senior management to ensure that we are able to deliver effective interventions that make a difference for young people and their families, in all aspects of their lives and keep them safe.

About you:
We're looking for confident and dynamic individuals who enjoy making a difference in their local community, are curious and spot things that others might not see, enjoys building relationships and likes to explore possibilities.
You could be from social worker, early help, youth justice or police background. The most important thing about you is you ability to engage young people and work collaboratively with other professionals.
