Are you an experienced children's Social Worker seeking a change going into 2024?
Leaders in Care are working with a top-rated local authority based just off the South Coast of England to present a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Children’s Social Worker to become part of the Child and Family Assessment team.
With this council, rest assured that overwhelming caseloads won't be an issue. The workload is evenly distributed across the team, ensuring manageable tasks. Additionally, you'll benefit from a well-established management system that guarantees a stable and relaxed work setting. You will also be joining a close-knit team who are always there to support one and other.
The role will involve picking up child in need cases, ongoing care proceedings, conducting assessments and making informed decisions about the most appropriate interventions to support the child and family. Although this council are happy to consider a range of experience, experience in child protection and court work would be desirable.
Given the nature of this role, candidates must hold a social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England.
