Child Friendly Housekeeper Cook

Calling experienced Housekeeper Cooks who are looking to work in a lovely newly renovated home!

A family located Harbury, Warwickshire is looking for an experienced and self-motivated housekeeper to oversee the daily running over their newly renovated home.

There are two school aged children in the home. Although there are no daily duties as mum is around, the suitable candidate would be happy to work in a home with children and maybe help if required. The family also have a Labrador and would love if the housekeeper was also open to pet sitting if the family travel (potentially once or twice a year). There is a second property on the grounds where their elderly father lives, so cleaning duties would also be required in this property.

General duties:

• Daily cleaning duties around the home
• Deep cleaning duties when required
• Overseeing the daily running of the home – taking deliveries, making sure everything is working and liaising with gardener etc
• Laundry and ironing for the family
• Washing and hanging bedding
• Keeping the pool area tidy
• Cleaning out the fire and laying new fires
• Running errands if/when required
• Cooking family style meals – a couple of times a week
• Occasional proxy parenting and dog sitting

Candidate requirements:

• Ideally a driver with own car due to location
• A fluent English speaker is required
• Must be pet friendly and happy to work in a home with dogs
• Self-motivated, friendly but can also respect the family’s privacy, organised and flexible
• The family are looking for someone who is experienced and has worked in a similar position
