Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Provide strategic leadership to a team of up to 1,000 colleagues across multiple locations• Manage workforce planning, resource deployment, and capability plans to meet service level requirements• Lead through a period of accelerated change and shape the strategic direction of the organization• Drive cultural change and establish a culture of continuous improvement• Report up to the CMS Executive Team, Director General, and Minister• Potentially lead one of the Service Centres in a sponsorship role
Requirements
• Experience in leading large teams in a complex, fast-paced operational environment• Demonstrated ability to drive cultural change and establish a culture of continuous improvement• Strong strategic leadership skills• Experience in digital transformation and implementing organizational change• Good communication and reporting skills• Willingness to frequently travel and stay overnight• Experience in the public service sector is preferred
