Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a well-known Local Authority based in London. The Council’s very big and busy Childcare teams are looking for an Experienced Childcare Lawyer to join them. This role offers hybrid working and competitive hourly rates.

This is a full-time role (36 hours per week)

Some of the responsibilities include:
1. Assisting and supporting the Childcare Team
2. Providing and to contributing to the provision of efficient and effective legal advice and services to the Council
3. Assisting with the legal work undertaken within the department

The ideal candidate will have the following:
1. Experience and knowledge in Children's Services
2. Demonstrable experience of child protection practice and law
3. Holds current Practicing Certificate
