About the Role:
Join a leading Legal 500 national firm based in Manchester as a Childcare Solicitor with supervisor status. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team specializing in childcare law. As a member of the firm's Childcare Panel, you will play a crucial role in representing clients in sensitive and complex cases.
Responsibilities:
* Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in childcare proceedings.
* Act as a supervisor, overseeing and guiding junior team members.
* Manage a caseload of childcare matters, including care proceedings, adoption, and guardianship.
* Conduct advocacy in court hearings and represent clients at meetings and conferences.
* Build strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders, maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy.
Criteria:
* Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in childcare law.
* Membership of the Childcare Panel accredited by the Law Society.
* Strong advocacy skills with experience representing clients in court.
* Ability to supervise and mentor junior solicitors and legal assistants.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
* Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.
