Are you a Paralegal with experience in Childcare Law? This could be the perfect opportunity for you!

We are currently recruiting for a Childcare Paralegal to join a highly motivated and dynamic team based in Merseyside. This role offers agile working and the chance to work with a local authority.

As a Childcare Paralegal, you will have the opportunity to work on your own caseload of pre-proceedings cases, attending PLO meetings on behalf of the Local Authority. You will also be responsible for drafting C2 applications for retime-tabling, drafting consent orders, and drafting letters of instructions and Part 25 applications.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a childcare/family legal team, preferably within a local authority. You should be self-motivated and able to work well under pressure, ensuring that timescales and legal obligations are met. Strong communication skills are also essential, as you will be communicating in different formats of written, oral, and electronic formats.

This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension. The rate is £25-£30 per hour (umbrella).
