Group - Therapeutic Worker for a Drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation Centre

We are looking for an experienced, and self-motivated Group Worker to join our Therapeutic team who can participate in the delivery of high quality, evidence-based group interventions within a residential rehabilitation setting.
We are looking for an experienced Group Worker who can support, implement and deliver a variety of groups – supporting individuals towards recovery, increased resilience and improved wellbeing. Relevant experience in facilitating group work is essential with a minimum of 12 months relevant experience of working in the field of substance misuse or mental health. A therapeutic counselling diploma is desirable but not essential.
The successful applicants will be required to work within a multi–faceted role which demands high standards of person-centered care. Those standards include:
- Ensuring the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents at all times, ensuring the diverse needs of the residents are identified and met
- Ensuring the individual daily living requirements and treatment needs of Service Users are met.
- Participation in the delivery of therapeutic and psychoeducation interventions, both group and individual.
- Ensuring the delivery of care to all residents meets the required high standards of The Trust and Care Quality Commission (CQC)
The role is permanent full time working predominantly Monday to Friday with scope to work some Saturdays
