Children Law Solicitor

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Children Law Solicitor to join a highly successful, Legal 500 - tiered Family Department in Tamworth. This highly regarded practise enjoys a regular flow of work from the West Midlands and are looking for a hard working individual to take on an existing caseload.
We are looking for an experienced, friendly and highly motivated solicitor to join a busy and high performing team to provide high levels of service to clients in serious and complex matters.
The role will typically assist with:

• Children issues and disputes
• Care proceedings
• Adoption and Surrogacy

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience handling publicly funded Child Care work. Excellent client care skills and ability to deal with vulnerable clients and resolve complicated and sensitive Children Law matters is essential. Candidates accredited on the Law Society Children Panel is preferred, but candidates with suitable experience who will work towards panel membership will be considered. Previous Advocacy experience also preferred but not essential.
This department consists of 4 experienced and highly specialised lawyers. There is considerable scope for progression with all opportunities for leadership roles coming from internal promotions.
Hybrid working available. Salary from £42,000 to £50,000 depending on experience.
