We are looking for Children and Young Person Support Worker’s to join us at Beaufort Care Group. We pride ourselves on offering a caring, supportive residential environment for the young people in our care. We have a number of years’ experience in high quality childcare supporting children from 10 to 18 years old, with our focus centred on the needs of the child.
The welfare of our young people is paramount in the role of a Children and Young Person Support Worker Not only do they keep our young people safe, but as the daily care provider they also make a fundamental contribution to their care, learning and development.
We are looking for caring & dedicated individuals to join our team of Children & Young Person Support Worker’s.
Requirements:
- An ability to engage with young people positively and proactively
- Experience of communicating with children and young people, or vulnerable young adults
- Experience working in a residential care setting.
- Experience of working or volunteering with Children & Young people or vulnerable adults.
- Experience of working with children or young people experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties.
- Good standard of IT skills, able to effectively maintain recording and reporting.
- To be committed to work towards achieving an NVQ 3 Health & Social Care/Children & Young People OR Diploma L3 Health & Social Care / Children & Young People
What we provide to you:
- Salary of £26,712 – £27,768 per annum (Full time equivalent, including sleep-in rate based on average rota sleep in requirements)
- Basic Salary of £21,312 – £22,368 (excluding sleep-in payments)
