Children's Centre Worker

• Rate of pay - £14ltd per hour


• Location - South West Locality

The London Borough of Hillingdon are currently seeking a Children's Centre Worker to join their team.
As a Children's Centre Worker, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of community and centre-based activities that support young children's learning, development, and health, ensuring consistency of high-quality provision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and delivery of appropriate activities that are conducive to supporting the learning and development of young children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage


• Assess and evaluate family needs and identify appropriate services to meet those needs, working within the team and outside agencies signposting as required


• Raise parent/carer awareness of the needs of the developing child and to model and share good practice


• Ensure support is given to parent/carers as appropriate for instance e.g.
  parenting skills and behaviour management


• Support the children with their individual care needs, e.g.
  feeding, toileting as appropriate and in accordance with centre policies

Requirements:

• Experience working with young children


• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work as part of a team and also independently


• Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations


• Ability to assess and evaluate family needs and identify appropriate services to meet those needs
