Role Overview:
As a Children's Residential NightCare Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of children aged 10 to 18 with diverse needs, including autism and non-verbal communication. Working closely with a dedicated team, you'll provide overNight Support and assistance, helping to create a secure and nurturing environment where children can flourish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with daytime staff to facilitate smooth transitions and handovers
- Assist children with bedtime routines and ensure they are settled for the night
- Respond promptly to any nighttime needs or emergencies
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in communal areas
- Maintain accurate records of care plans and incidents
- Ensure the safety and welfare of all children in your care
- Prepare for morning handovers and provide updates as needed
