Salary and Benefits

Overview of the Role
I am currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children s Residential Support Worker to join the team in providing high-quality care for children in our residential home. As a Children s Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting children who have experienced trauma and challenging life situations. You will provide therapeutic care and support for children aged between 5-18 years old.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing emotional and practical support to children in the home
- Always ensuring the safety and well-being of the children
- Promoting positive behaviour and routines for children in the home
- Supporting children in their education and development
- Communicating effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals
- Maintaining accurate records of the care provided to the children
Required Skills, Experience, & Knowledge
- Experience working with children in a residential or similar setting
- Relevant qualification in Children s Services (or willing to undertake Level 3)
- Flexibility to work a varied shift pattern, including sleep ins and weekends on a rota basis
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle - ESSENTIAL
- A compassionate and caring approach to working with children
- Knowledge and understanding of child development and safeguarding procedures
