Job Role: Children’s Senior Social Worker in Havering
The primary purpose of the role is to; Manage a caseload of complex and challenging cases and assist other team members in the management of such cases, support team members in maintaining and developing high professional standards, supervise students on placement, have specialist knowledge of an area of child care practice that can be used across the service, to represent the service in developing key service provision or local strategic initiatives,  Improve the quality of work done by Social Workers, including effective case management, purposeful evidence based interventions, analytical assessments and high quality written work.

As a Social worker you must have a degree in Social work with a minimum 2 years post qualifying experience and passed your AYSE, experience in an NHS Establishment or a local authority is desirable.
To act in accordance with SWE registration requirements and Code of Conduct for exercising accountability and professional practice.
To provide professional Social work assessments to support the commissioning process in line with care management and continuing care.

Previous experience and/or qualifications in Social work are essential to apply for this role.
