Children’s Social Worker
Team: Child In Care, Child In Need & Children’s Disabilities Teams

Hours: 37 and HYBRID WORKING
Rate: £34.86 per hour
Children’s Senior Social Worker/s are required for the Children In Need, Children in Care and Children with Disabilities Teams in Sefton.
We are looking for social work practitioners who are able to undertake work across our social work teams including child in need, child protection, children in care and children with disability.

Consistency and stability is important to us and we are able to offer 6 month contracts to those that join us and pay can be negotiated, subject to previous experience and suitable reference checks.

- DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
- Social Work England registration
- Post qualification experience
- Enhanced and in date DBS certificate.
- Excellent communication skills and be able to make good decisions based on information available.
- One year minimum post qualified experience in Children’s Social Work
- Can work alone and within/contribute to a team/multi-agency set ups.
- Possess knowledge of service needs.
- Competent IT skills and be able to navigate electronic file/recording systems.
- Can write clear, concise, and robust assessment/reports/files.
- Have a flexible approach to work and working hours when the need arises
