Your new company
We are looking to recruiting personable, flexible and motivated Support Workers to support our qualified staff with the delivery of care to our children and young people. You will be involved in the daily care and meeting the psychological needs of a diverse group of young people with varying degrees of complex needs. You will be caring and attentive with the skills to build strong and trusting relationships with people. It is also important that you work well in a team, as you will work collaboratively to ensure the highest standard of care is being practised.
Your new role
You will be working closely with the young people to manage their needs whilst promoting independence and positive outcomes. You will also be completing activities to promote and build self-esteem. Typical shifts will be long days (9am - 11pm) and sleep-ins.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have 6 months previous experience within a residential setting, which can be in either adult's or children's services. You must also have a valid driving licence and access to a motor vehicle.
