By helping to link communities isolated from today’s ‘connected world’, our client is ensuring that the severity of medical emergencies, natural disasters, conflict and famine are reduced, and the light of God now shines brightly there.

They are now seeking a Church Engagement & Volunteer Co-ordinator to join their team on a permanent, part-time basis, working a minimum of 22.5 hours per week. They will also consider full-time hours.

The Role
As a Church Engagement & Volunteer Co-ordinator, you will expand our client’s presence in Scotland and engage new audiences.
Fostering meaningful connections and partnerships with church leaders across Scotland, you will deliver presentations to grow prayer support, donated income and recruitment for overseas roles.
You will also deliver their Volunteer Programme, growing, training and inspiring their volunteer base to facilitate more opportunities to speak in churches and other community groups.
Additionally, you will:
- Promote church resources
- Oversee the annual volunteer’s conference
- Assist in the delivery of church partnerships, community events and Christian events and festivals
About You
To be considered as a Church Engagement & Volunteer Co-ordinator, you will need:
- Experience in fundraising
- Experience managing volunteers
- Experience representing an organisation in writing and in person at events
- Knowledge of the Scottish church, constituency and politics
- A full, valid driving licence
