Job Title: CISCO Network Engineer
Location: Central London
Salary: £300 per day inside IR35
Job Summary: As a CISCO Network Engineer, you will be a key member of our network infrastructure team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network systems. Your expertise in CISCO technologies, including ISE, Firewall, DNAC, and CISCO Switches, will be crucial in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Network Design and Implementation:
Design and implement CISCO-based network solutions, incorporating ISE, Firewall, DNAC, and CISCO Switches, to meet business and technical requirements.
Deploy, configure, and maintain CISCO networking equipment, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Security and Compliance:
Implement and manage security measures, including Firewall and ISE, to protect the network infrastructure from cyber threats.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in network security.
DNAC Deployment:
Work on the implementation and management of CISCO DNA Centre (DNAC) for network automation and assurance.
Collaborate with teams to leverage DNAC features for efficient network provisioning and troubleshooting.
Troubleshooting and Support:
Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly, providing effective support to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address network-related challenges.
Documentation:
Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Keep network diagrams up-to-date and accurate.Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CISCO Network Engineer with expertise in ISE, Firewall, DNAC, and CISCO Switches.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security protocols, and network management tools.
CISCO certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are highly desirable.
Previous experience in designing and implementing network solutions in a complex environment.Benefits:
