This is a great opportunity for you to develop a speciality within Citrix and virtualisation (if you haven't already done so!) and looking to hone your skills within a truly enterprise environment which isn't restricted by budget. You'll be working within an environment of thousands of servers with huge potential to improve the infrastructure, both on-prem and cloud. You'll be bringing your Citrix skills to the table - you'll be working on XenServer, Virtual Apps and Desktops, monitoring using Citrix Director and be part of the journey into cloud, particularly Azure and AVD.
If you have scripting skills (PowerShell) or want to develop knowledge here, you'll have opportunity.
This Citrix Engineer role is varied including problem management, support, new technology implementation, risk management, automation and complex engineering.
You'll be part of a Citrix team and culture where the emphasis is on information sharing and learn from each other. The environment is extremely pragmatic - they aren't bound by loads of red tape or bureaucracy
There's definite opportunity for career progression, which I've seen first-hand. This could be moving into Citrix technical leadership, team leadership, management, architecture and project management. (And those are just some examples)
