We are recruiting 2 Civil Engineers to join our team based in the West region of Scotland, covering Oban and Lochgilphead areas.
The Civil Engineering team plans, designs and manages a network of forest roads and associated infrastructure, including bridges and extractives sites (Quarries). The forest road network we manage (9844km) supports land management activities, in particular the harvesting and marketing of timber from Scotland’s national forests and land.
Our Civil Engineers work across multi-discipline teams to deliver various projects across our land and forests including the build of new, and maintenance of existing roads and bridges. This role carry’s significant autonomy and responsibility, taking projects from the planning and design stage through to completion. Our Civil Engineers play a key role in the commercial management of works and ensuring health an safety on sites across their region.

Civil Engineers are required to carry out site visits across the region, this will include travel to other offices in the region and potentially overnight stays.
These are full time posts working 37 hours per week; however consideration will be given to candidates who wish to work an alternative working pattern.
