Your new role
To meet an increasing workload and support the development and growth of the company, they have a permanent position for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer. The successful candidate would be working as part of a team on International and domestic projects including:

• Portfolio of Design and Build projects in the UK
• Commercial development projects in Northern Ireland
• Design Services for UK and Ireland water utilities

Key Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for developing drainage designs from initial concepts to site supervision. This includes overseeing the preparation and implementation of drawings and project documents. You will build and nurture strong partnership with clients, contractors, consultants, and other relevant stakeholders. You must monitor project scoping, budgets, monthly operating plans, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution. You will also carry out inspections and supervise on-site works, ensuring quality and adherence to design specifications.

What you\'ll need to succeed:
To be successful for this role, our client is looking for candidates with:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in consulting engineering or equivalent. Candidates with exceptional skills and fewer years of experience will also be considered.
• At least 5 years' experience working in the UK is desired.
• Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Engineer or a member of a professional body working toward achieving Chartership status.
• Willingness to work on a variety of Civil Engineering projects across the island of Ireland and the UK.
• The ability to work as part of a team, meet tight deadlines, and communicate effectively.
• Strong knowledge of current codes of practice, building control regulations, and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

It would be desirable if you have:

• Previous experience working on Frameworks with Utility Companies in the UK or Ireland.
• Design experience in the Water Sector, Energy, Commercial, Institutional, Educational, Residential, and light & heavy Industries.
