AddressCivil Engineering TechnicianLondonSalary : £32,000 - 40,000 – depends on experienceA multi-disciplined engineering consultancy are looking for a Civil Engineering Technician to join their business which consists of over 60 technical engineers across the board in their central London office. There are currently 8 civil and structural engineers within the office with 3 civil technical engineers that work alongside the structures team closely.The Projects spread across most sectors such as education, healthcare, warehousing etc. The values or projects range in excess of £100m. On these projects you and the rest of the civils team will be producing and delivering technical drainage and highway designs for your clients.You will be working alongside experienced Directors and engineers who have a very supportive and hands on approach when working with their colleagues and dealing with their projects which is the reason why they have over 80% of their work generated from repeat business.Civil Engineering Technician requirements/role:- 4 plus years of knowledge and understanding of Civil Engineering and infrastructure and design in the UK.- A reliable and enthusiastic individual with a ‘hands-on’ approach to projects.- Knowledge and understanding of the principles of Building Information Modelling (BIM).- Experience in completing designs for External works and levels, S104 drainage agreements and S38/S278 Highways agreements among other Section agreements on a variety of schemes.- Good working knowledge of Civil 3D/Site 3D, and AutoCAD.Benefits:- Hybrid working available.- Contributory pension ; Healthcare scheme ; Electric vehicle scheme ; Cycle to Work Scheme ; Monthly gym membership contribution ; Paid professional memberships fees ; 22 days annual leave (in addition to bank holidays) ; Employee social events ; A discretionary profit and performance-related annual bonus ; £100 birthday bonus.- Their Social Committee organise and run several social events every year.- Technologically advanced company and they use the latest tools to deliver their projects, resulting in increasing productivity, efficiency and better service to our customers.- Their focus and expertise in BIM is rather unique.
