Our client, a key player in the water sector, is currently seeking a Civil Site Manager for a water treatment works project in Chesterfield. This is a contract position and requires an experienced professional adept in managing blue-collar water treatment projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing daily site operations and ensuring successful project delivery
- Managing and supervising blue-collar workforce on site
- Coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met
- Implementing and maintaining health and safety procedures
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Preparing and managing project schedules and budgets
- Overseeing the construction of sewage treatment works, concrete structures, and pipelaying activities
- Conducting site inspections and quality control checks
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in Civil Site management within the water sector
- Strong knowledge of sewage treatment works, concrete structures, and pipelaying
- SMSTS qualification
- First Aid certification
- EUSR Water Card
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage and supervise blue-collar staff effectively
- Proficiency in project management and scheduling
