Adecco Crewe are recruiting for a Claims Assistant to join a small friendly team with our client based in Crewe. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful business at an exciting time of growth.
Day to day responsibilities will include reporting all claims promptly to insurers where applicable, ensuring regular updates obtained from insurers are relayed to the client, negotiating claim settlements with insurers on behalf of the client, building and maintaining relationships with clients, colleagues, insurers and external suppliers, and keeping the internal database up to date.
The successful applicant will have a personable nature with strong communication both written and verbal, be confident with Microsoft software packages like Word, Excel and Outlook, and have good customer service skills. You will also be organised and methodical, with the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload. Good knowledge and understanding of policy cover is highly desirable.
