Claims Executive (Marine)

We are seeking a Claims Executive to join a reputable maritime insurance firm. This role offers the chance to work with a team of seasoned professionals, providing excellent claims handling, adjustment, and operational support services to a diverse and international clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficient management of a wide variety of claims, including cargo claims, property damage, collisions, pollution, and personal injury.
• Delivering high-quality claims handling services that align with client needs while following industry and corporate best practices.
• Managing the claims process from start to finish, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders.
• Developing strong client relationships and maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Liaising with a network of internal and external contacts as needed.
• Building and maintaining partnerships with suppliers, advisors, and experts to ensure optimal claim outcomes.
• Responding to client inquiries promptly, providing clear and empathetic communication.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Current experience as a deck officer with tanker or bulk carrier vessels is preferred.
• Proven ability to absorb and apply new information efficiently.
• Excellent negotiation skills and a strong ability to work collaboratively.
• Demonstrated ability to build networks and manage relationships effectively.
• Open to change and driven to seek continuous improvement.
• Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and capable of working independently.
• Organized with a track record of managing tasks effectively.
