Are you an experienced claims professional with a flair for investigation and a passion for delivering outstanding service? Here at NFU Mutual, we currently present a fantastic opportunity for a Claims Inspector to join our team to play a pivotal role in investigating liability claims made against our customers, spanning motor, public and employer liability.

As a Claims Inspector, you’ll receive instructions from our regional claims teams to connect with customers to arrange investigations, whether remotely or physically, across a diverse range of claims, including some large-loss cases with reserves up to £2.5 million You’ll conduct thorough investigations and leverage your expertise to compile comprehensive reports with insightful recommendations and views on liability decisions.

Covering the North East region, including Newcastle and North Yorkshire, this role empowers you to manage your own schedule and travel plans and offers flexibility to shape your work-life balance. Whilst things can vary on how you manage your time and the nature of claims, you can expect to be on the road on average 2-3 days per week.

We are seeking a dedicated claims professional with experience of effectively handling employer and public liability claims and proven expertise in claims investigations. If you bring experience of handling motor claims too, that’s a plus.
