Claims Team Manager required by well established and successful company, based near Cirencester. The successful Claims Team Manger will be responsible for management of the claims process whilst leading and motivating a team.
Main Duties Claims Team Manger
- Providing line management to the claims handling team.
- Leading and motivating a team and contributing to their learning and development.
- Ensuring compliance of processes to industry standards.
- Carrying out quality checks and reporting.
- Reviewing and assessing the validity of claims, exercising sound judgement and attention to detail.
- Identifying and investigating potentially fraudulent claims, implementing appropriate measures to mitigate risk and protect company interests.
- Providing an escalation point to the Claims team, resolving complex issues and providing guidance and support as needed.
- Preparing management information and reports, presenting key insights and performance metrics.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Claims Team Manger
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the Financial Services sector or a related industry, demonstrating expertise in claims management and team leadership.
- Track record of successfully leading and developing teams, driving a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- A consultative approach, capable of analyzing situations and providing informed recommendations and solutions.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively, balancing competing priorities and deadlines to achieve business objectives.
